info Alphabetical order
We therefore declare the following duly elected:
Mrs Alisa Alspach, Ashley Clarke and Mr Simon Thomas Montague.
Meet your representatives
My name is Alisa Alspach and I am standing for the Fox Glacier School Board. I have three boys; our oldest, Felix (5), will be starting at the school in June.
I have a degree in Statistics from the University of Canterbury and a Post-graduate certificate in Bio-Statistics from the University of Melbourne. Since 2001, I have worked in Clinical Research, firstly for the University of Otago Christchurch School of Medicine and then for the Canterbury District Health Board. In 2009, we moved to Vienna, Austria, where I spent five years working for the St Anna Child Cancer Research Institute. During my time working in Clinical Research I have led teams working to ensure smooth running of Clinical Trials. I have worked on teams with people from across the world and I have been the liaison between clinicians and IT. These roles have showed me the importance of clear understandings, negotiations, leadership, and good working relationships, which I believe will be important as a trustee.
I am standing for the BOT, because I want to help ensure the high quality of education at Fox Glacier School is maintained and that the staff receives the resources needed to achieve this. I look forward to working with the BOT, parents and staff to ensure the school continues to be a great place for our children’s education.
